About: A dynamic force in the entertainment industry, Luana brings over 15 years of passion and expertise to the world of content and media. Since joining Quebecor in 2011, she has been a driving force behind the advancement of its strategic interests and the negotiation of key content acquisitions and partnerships, most notably in her capacity as Senior Legal Director.

Holding a Master’s degree in Propriété littéraire, artistique et industrielle from the Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris, Luana brings a distinctly international perspective to everything she touches. She has been instrumental in bringing iconic global formats to Quebec audiences, including such smash hits as The Voice, The Masked Singer, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and MasterChef, while passionately championing the export of original Quebec format Révolution to audiences around the world.

A recognized thought leader, seasoned educator and committed community builder, Luana previously shared her expertise as a lecturer in Publishing Law at the Université de Sherbrooke. She has also served as Co-President of AJAVA (Associations des juristes pour l’avancement de la vie artistique), as a member of the Board of Directors of the Barreau du Québec, and on the fundraising committee for the Printemps du MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art of Montreal); each role a reflection of her enduring dedication to both the legal community and the cultural landscape. Earlier in her career, she lent her pen to L’Extrajudiciaire as a journalist for the Arts de vivre column, proof that her love of culture has always been woven into the fabric of who she is.

When she is not navigating the exhilarating world of international content production and distribution, Luana can be found exploring far-flung destinations around the globe, perfecting her baking craft, losing herself in a great book, or immersing herself in the latest contemporary art exhibitions.
